I’m always drawn to the sunset’s beauty when the light is golden and shadows are blue. That incredible range of colors — I love to gaze at it., and that was the first subject that inspired me to start to paint. With the Glowing Collection, I tried to capture the mesmerizing colors of Chesapeake Bay sunsets to make them mine and make them last! By applying thick layers of oil paint with palette knives and brushes, I created these impasto paintings. They are very textured, almost three-dimensional!
